"Norma dignifies and humanises her creatures, not judges them. And they have a natural grace that does not prevent us from laughing at their witticisms and cheekiness, but not at them." Omar Khan. SusyQ

Premiered successfully on 4th October at the Gran Teatro de Córdoba and recently awarded the PAD prizes for Best Choreography for Ruz and Best Costume Design for Roberto Martínez, NORMA begins its tour at the Teatro Central Sevilla, a global benchmark venue for contemporary dance, and prepares for its international premiere at the Tanzbiennale Heidelberg, Germany, on 6th February.
‘Norma dignifies and humanises her creatures, not judges them. And they have a natural grace that does not prevent us from laughing at their witticisms and cheekiness, but not at them. (...) The five dancers defend their choreographer's ideas splendidly well because they knew how to understand, from the physical, logically, but mainly from the sensibility, the ultimate aim of the proposal. They knew how to transmit to us what it is like to be on the supposedly wrong side of life, but from there to seduce us to force us to rethink and push us to conclude that, in this life, there is no wrong side’.
